About Hemlock Tears

Hemlock Tears is the recording project of David Goulden. I started it to keep certain songs from disappearing, the ones built around place and memory. Indie rock built from scenes, restraint, and afterimage.

I’m based in Tokyo now, but many of these songs began elsewhere. Homewood Avenue, the debut EP, is four tracks written in Toronto and reopened years later from a bedroom in Tokyo.
